Union Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein Visits Food Competition and Department-wise Food Stalls Organised by Universities and Education Degree Colleges in Yangon

The Union Minister for Education, Dr Chaw Chaw Sein, together with the Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing, directors-general, rectors, and responsible officials, attended the 25^th Silver Jubilee Research Conference and Science Fair (2026) near the Thikpok tree organised by the Myanmar Academy of Arts and Science at the University of Yangon this morning. They also visited the food competition among universities and education degree colleges in Yangon, and the department-wise food stalls of the University of Yangon.

First, the Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, and officials visited and encouraged participants competing in the food competition among universities and education degree colleges in Yangon, which featured teams from the University of Yangon, Yangon University of Foreign Languages, Yangon University of Education, Yangon University of Economics, East Yangon University, West Yangon University, Dagon University, Yangon University of Distance Education, Yankin Education Degree College, Thingangyun Education Degree College, Hlegu Education Degree College, and Meiktila Education Degree College.

Afterwards, they ‌attended and watched the food fair which displays traditional ethnic foods and stalls set up by different departments of the University of Yangon.
